I’ve been working for Advance engineering services ltd for over 30 years, I started as an apprentice studying city & guilds 200 in mechanical engineering and, E.I.T.B level’s one, two and three fulltime for a year at Hastings college of Arts & Technology. then studying city & guilds 205 cert in mechanical engineering craft studies and a B-Tech national certificate in mechanical engineering. During my final year at college, following the city & guilds 205 3rd year machining course, I produced a high level of laboratory work and achieved credits in my final examinations, which lead to the HMD pumps prize for the best craft mechanical student, In January 2004 Advance engineering went into administration under the former owner and I was made redundant, but six weeks later with my new business partner Mr. Lobsang Wangyal we bought what was left of Advance engineering. Now nearly 18 years later as Managing Director we are still here surviving through Brexit and Covid.
